The very talented Japanese ceramic artist, Tomoko Konno, has collaborated with Jenggala on a series of tableware products. Winner of numerous awards and recognized internationally, Tomoko’s work has a signature style of intricacy, amazing symmetry and attention to detail. Her work imagines nature or forms from another world, with subtle colors and textures to entice the curiosity and playfulness. Bring these elements to your home with the Bird Sauce dish by Tomoko Konno. Made from stoneware with handpainted colorful details, this charming piece is part of a collection consisting of various animals such as a pig, gecko, snake, cat and rabbit. The fun style and design makes it perfect for all the family as a tabletop accent, for birthday parties and other special occasions.

Stablished in 1976 in Bali, Jenggala is the foremost manufacturer of quality handcrafted ceramic ware in Indonesia. Our clay body and glazes are all made in house at our facility in Bali. Having supplied many five-star resorts and high-end retailers worldwide, our products and materials are constantly improved to meet international standards.

All of our ceramic products are hand-made, so irregularities and variation in the glaze color, texture and finish are inherent of the processes and are expected. Theses irregularities and variations shouldn’t be looked upon as a defect, as it gives the product unique characteristics, enhancing the aesthetic of each piece.

Our ceramic products can be used in the microwave and are dishwasher-safe, however they should not be exposed to direct heat. Please avoid thermal shock to the product from one extreme temperature to another.

Stainless steel and some metals may leave marks on our some of our matte/satin glaze surfaces. This is due to surface of the glaze being harder than the metal and small fragments of the metal collecting in the microscopic pores on the surface of the glaze. This does not damage the glaze and can be removed. To remove marks left by metal utensils, dishes may be cleaned with a stainless steel polish. We have found the brand, Polaris, to yield the best results.

Jenggala has qualified and maintains the strict ISO Quality Assurance System as well as certification of Standard National Indonesia for Food Safe and Chip Resistant quality ceramic tableware.
