This item brings a cultural element of Bali to your tabletop and can also join you for festive occasions as a clever shot glass.
Stablished in 1976 in Bali, Jenggala is the foremost manufacturer of quality handcrafted ceramic ware in Indonesia. Our clay body and glazes are all made in house at our facility in Bali. Having supplied many five-star resorts and high-end retailers worldwide, our products and materials are constantly improved to meet international standards.
All of our ceramic products are hand-made, so irregularities and variation in the glaze color, texture and finish are inherent of the processes and are expected. Theses irregularities and variations shouldn’t be looked upon as a defect, as it gives the product unique characteristics, enhancing the aesthetic of each piece.
Our ceramic products can be used in the microwave and are dishwasher-safe, however they should not be exposed to direct heat. Please avoid thermal shock to the product from one extreme temperature to another.
Stainless steel and some metals may leave marks on our some of our matte/satin glaze surfaces. This is due to surface of the glaze being harder than the metal and small fragments of the metal collecting in the microscopic pores on the surface of the glaze. This does not damage the glaze and can be removed. To remove marks left by metal utensils, dishes may be cleaned with a stainless steel polish. We have found the brand, Polaris, to yield the best results.
Jenggala has qualified and maintains the strict ISO Quality Assurance System as well as certification of Standard National Indonesia for Food Safe and Chip Resistant quality ceramic tableware.
